I've been trading prop for almost 8 years now with no down years during that time but with varying levels of success. The best years were at Worldco, where I learned from the best traders at that time and was a breeding ground for many size traders. Needless to say, I am mainly a NYSE focused trader.
My trading style has evolved through the years, but one thing that has remained an essential part of my arsenal has been my tape reading skills. Even with the new hybrid system in place, I've once realized how important this skill is.
